Rev. Dr. Tim Coombs, co-pastor of Trinity Presbyterian Church describes the Scripture by Heart activity at his church in this way:

I, occasionally, have gotten folks to be creative with scripture. The most success I have is organizing a “scripture choral,” that is folks telling a scripture scripted as a performance piece, likened to a verbal choir.

We’ve also used a drama bag like the Australians taught us.

I, of course, tell all the time, almost always with a graphic background and when the inspiration hits me, a video one.
