This is the focus group for “Telling the Good News in 21st Century Ministry” left to right: Amelia Boomershine, Brice Thomas, Kathy Culmer, Meghan Howard, Elizabeth Green, Tom Boomershine (mentor), Ron Poisel, Joyce Johnson. Faculty mentor Lisa Hess was in Israel at the time. Our action research projects include biblical storytelling/digital media for youth, millennials, incarcerated people, worship, and evangelism. Four of us are on track to graduate this May with our Doctor of Ministry degrees from United Theological Seminary. Three have one more semester to go. In late January we celebrated our last week-long Intensive together in Dayton.

Call Stories for MDiv Students

CinDay Guild Tells at United Theological Seminary

In mid-February the CinDay (Cincinnati-Dayton, Ohio) Guild of the Network of Biblical Storytellers told call stories from both Testaments during a Master of Divinity Intensive Week worship service at United Theological Seminary in Dayton, Ohio. We told the call of Ezekiel (to prophesy to dry bones), the boy Samuel, Jonah, Mary, the fishermen, the rich man (a refused call), and Nathanael. The video below includes all these stories following an introduction by Tom Boomershine.
