In the beginning was the word … pass it on!
This is the theme of the 2013 National Gathering of the Network of Biblical Storytellers. The event will be held in Brisbane, July 5-7. The keynote speaker is Megan McKenna. In addition to storytelling and keynotes she will be making a public address entitled ‘Like a Hammer Shattering Rock.’ The Gathering will include an Epic Telling of The Gospel of John, Chapters 1 and 12-17. NBS Australia
The work of learning and telling scripture by heart in Australia is sponsored by NBS (Network of Biblical Storytellers) Australia.
NBS Australia was founded in 1990 by Rev. Rex Hunt, a minister of the Uniting Church in Australia on a visit to Dayton, Ohio, after meeting with NBS International co-founder, Rev. Dr Tom Boomershine. In 1992, during a visit to Australia by Tom Boomershine, NBS (Australia) was officially launched.

GoTell in Australia
In June 2006 Tom and Amelia spent three weeks in Brisbane, Melbourne, Canberra and Sidney teaching, preaching, and telling with an emphasis on communicating biblical stories with audio/visual media. Their visit was hosted by NBS Australia and culminated with participation in the Festival Gathering outside Sidney.
