Write an open-ended question in the form of “I wonder…?” in the center of chart paper or white board in a distinctive color. Invite children to “wonder” about the question and when they have a thought, to share it. Do not judge or comment on their response; write their response in a different color around the question. Circle it and draw a line to the question.
